Really great food in a cute atmosphere! My only complaint is watching one of the servers touching ice with her bare hands and pouring ice all over her shirt trying to funnel it in cups. Gross. Other than that it was great! Totally recommend. Maybe just say no to the ice.

Everything was wonderful! The atmosphere is sweet and cozy and the food and service were wonderful! We went the day before Thanskgiving and they stayed open for us even though they were cleaning up early. I had a turkey and Swiss panini with cranberry sauce. The turkey was moist and flavorful and they were able to make the sandwich using gluten free bread. The potato salad may not look like much, the the flavor was unique and delicious! I can't wait to go back here with friends!

We brought a group of eight adults and nine kids under five. Food was quick and absolutely delicious. Service was quick and courteous. Awesome breakfast. Highly recommend.

Nice little place, it’s seat yourself and we waited 10 minutes and nobody came to our table or took notice. We went down the street.

We weren't greeted right away. There were 2 big groups in front of us so we waited at least 40 minutes after ordering and even then we didnt get our food and we were soo hungry. We couldn't wait anymore soI left money to pay for our drinks then left. It was very busy there and we didn't have the greatest experience. I think if it wasnt as busy that day it would have been better.The inside was pretty cool and I loved the location.

The art in the same building are alone worth the visit. I love the building too because there is an outdoor patio to eat if you want and it is surrounded by gardens and plants. It is extremely natural around here. The food is amazing with lots of different options. The meal I got had lots of food which was at a good price. It was perfect for me and I would recommend it to anyone.

This is a friendly breakfast and lunch spot. Breakfast consists of most of the (delicious) usual breakfast favorites. I like the breakfast burrito. Lunch offerings are a little more healthy than a lot of other area restaurants- fewer burgers and more wraps, salads, sandwiches and soups. Try the chicken salad croissant with Hungarian mushroom soup. Have to give this place five stars because the owner is so dang awesome!!

What a great place to eat and visit. Great food. Awesome customer service and lovely environment. We will be back.

Good food fair price

Great small town cafe serving breakfast all day on Sunday. They serve a great cranberry & wild rice bread.

Every time we head up north we eat breakfast here. Strong coffee, food is great and fills you up. Service is always friendly.

Excellent food. Had the Raspberry French Toast and Breakfast Burrito. The Raspberry French toast wasn't a sauce, but the raspberries were mixed into the batter. Our server was good, but coulda been more on top of things. I do think she was split between the patio and inside. But had to wait for awhile to get coffee refills and waited the whole meal to even get water.

My daughter and I went here from breakfast right at opening. It has a cool vide to it with fun table cloths and wood beam vaulted ceilings. Needless to say it had loon themed nick naks everywhere. We had egg sandwiches on giant croissants and they tasted great. The server was very polite and friendly. It also has a pretty large patio for outdoor seating. When ever I am in town I will return to the hungry loon cafe. My only suggestion would be to add more items to the menu.

Wife and I stopped here for lunch. Both of us had a soup and sandwich. We both loved the Hungarian mushroom soup. Both sandwiches were really good, the lumberjack and the rueben. We will eat here again when in the area

Very friendly. .good menu...prices were normal and of course the food was excellent. .we will be returning soon.

Wasn't a big fan of it at all ...luckily I'm at least considerate enough to give two stars. Had the breakfast burrito which was filled with so much grease that it took several napkins just eat half of it. If it wasn't for the sauce and sour cream that I smothered it in it wouldn't have much flavor. Ended up not even getting the extra salsa I asked for until the end.

Absolutely delicious!! Every menu item is clearly made with care. A great spot for lunch while exploring beautiful Pequot Lakes.

Food is amazing, not fatty, family friendly environment and service was great. I highly recommend asking for Annie as your server.

Aug 6, 2019. -- We celebrated our 59th wedding anniversary by bringing a dear 96 year old friend to the Hungry Loon Cafe. It was our first visit and we enjoyed it enormously. Great food--the Hungarian mushroom soup and my roast beef, cheese and mushroom sandwich--was absolutely awesome! Wonderful atmosphere as well and the help was so friendly.

The food is good and the service is friendly. Perfect place to get breakfast after a night out. The coffee is okay.

Small local Pequot Lakes restaurant with good food. They are located on a side street and worth stopping in for breakfast (only meal I have ever ate there). The owner is always onsite and will stop by your table to talk. They offer a cranberry/wild rice bread that is delicious.

Great food, good service

My husband and I went here for the first time today while on vacation in Pequot Lakes, and we will definitely be back anytime we are in the area. The service was fast and super friendly. On the surface, the menu looks like a normal breakfast spot, but it was so much more than that! Everything was cpoked perfectly, and the cranberry wild rice toast and the rosemary potatoes are so good!!

Great food nice staff

We had Reuben omelets, cranberry rice toast and hash browns. Super good! Our waitress was so friendly and made our first time at the hungry loon a great experience. We'll be back!

Very good breakfast here everything is made well. The only thing they need to work on is the pancakes I find myself bit of an aficionado. They're good flavor but a little chewy the syrup kind of makes up for it.
